This Galaxy Caramel Rice Krispie Cake is a whole step up from your childhood memories of rice krispie buns. The kids will love this one if they can get anywhere near it lol!!

The ingredients for this one are soooooo simple! Gather together 100 grams of rice krispies, 100 grams of block butter, 100 grams of toffee, 100 grams of marshamallows, 110 grams of galaxy chocolate and 50 grams of galaxy caramel chocolate.

Are you ready to make your Galaxy Rice Krispie Cake?

This is such a fun recipe to make with the kids and it will take no time at all! The hardest part will be occupying them whilst it sets lol!

Firstly take a saucepan and add in: 100 grams of marshamallows, 100 grams of toffee (I used wethers originals but any will do) and 100 grams of block butter. Melt down all these ingredients until smooth and combined.

Once melted take your melted mixture and add to the rice krispies. Now is a good time to get you budding bakers busy and let them mix the mixture until the rice krispies are completely coated.

Next take your tub (I used a 1kg Stork Tub) and take the mixture and place in the tub. Ensure you flatten and even the mixture out.

Now we have our mixture in the tub, take your bar of galaxy chocolate and break it up in to a bowl and place in the microwave.

I like to check it every 10 to 15 seconds just to ensure it’s not burning (nothing worse than frazzled microwave chocolate). Once melted pour the chocolate over the rice krispie mixture and place in to the fridge to set.

We aren’t quite ready to let it set straight away, so after 15 minutes take your tub back out of the fridge and place some pieces of galaxy caramel on the top and push in to the chocolate ever so slightly.

Now let your Galaxy Rice Krispie Cake Set

Place the tub back in to the fridge and let set for two hours. Once set your cake should easily pop out of the tub once the sides have been released with a spatula or knife.

Enjoy! I am now away to cut a slice before the kids demolish my one lol.
